Business Development Consultant

About the role

The Business Development Consultant will lead site selection, development and strategic promotion of next‑generation AI‑ready data‑center campuses across Latin America. The role combines infrastructure development, power‑energy strategy and client partnership to build sustainable, high‑performance data‑center ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Identify strategic locations with large‑scale power supply capacity and coordinate land acquisition, permitting, environmental impact assessments and public utility liaison.
• Lead renewable‑energy and AI data‑center campus projects, supporting overall campus planning and infrastructure layout.
• Collaborate with power companies, transmission operators and new‑energy developers to negotiate long‑term power purchase agreements (PPA) and battery energy storage system (BESS) solutions.
• Assess grid capacity, substation conditions and power‑supply risks to ensure reliable operations.
• Engage with data‑center operators, cloud service providers and AI infrastructure customers to establish long‑term partnerships.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure, energy, data‑center, telecommunications or large‑scale industrial project development.
• Proven track record in advancing large‑scale power infrastructure projects and delivering at least one data‑center development.
• Fluent English for daily business communication.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the region.
