Business Development Manager - Colombia

About the role

Unlimit, a global financial infrastructure platform for the borderless agentic economy, is looking for a Business Development Manager to represent the company and build its presence in Colombia. The role is fully independent: you build your own pipeline of prospective merchants and close deals, with no dependency on inbound leads.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new business acquisition by building a strong pipeline of prospective merchants and closing deals
• Build your own pipeline through your network and your own lead generation
• Own your forecast and results: keep Salesforce up to date and report daily
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients and partners
• Work closely with internal teams to understand Unlimit's products, services and ways of working
• Stay on top of industry trends, developments in the payments landscape and emerging technologies
• Represent Unlimit as a brand ambassador while growing its presence in Colombia

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in the payments industry
• Strong experience in cross-border acquiring (must-have); local acquiring experience in Colombia is a plus
• Solid knowledge of Colombia's local payment ecosystem (PSE, Nequi, Daviplata, Bre-B)
• 2+ years of proven experience selling to enterprise merchants
• Deep knowledge of merchant verticals such as retail, ecommerce, travel and gaming
• Excellent negotiator, commercially driven, organized and methodical
• Fluent Spanish and professional English
