Business Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to accelerate growth across Latin America. You will expand strategic partnerships, acquire key clients, and uncover new market opportunities within the payments and fintech ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional growth strategies for the LATAM market.
• Identify, acquire, and manage relationships with merchants, financial institutions, payment partners, and other strategic opportunities.
• Lead market‑entry initiatives, oversee expansion projects, and manage local business resources to meet revenue targets.
• Monitor industry trends in cross‑border payments, merchant acquiring, fintech infrastructure, digital assets, stablecoins, online lending, and embedded finance.
• Provide actionable market intelligence and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Adapt product positioning and partnership approaches based on local market conditions.
• Support Chinese enterprises expanding into Latin America with localized payment and financial solutions.
• Manage sales pipelines, negotiate partnerships, and drive transaction volume growth.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, sales, or account management.
• Previous experience in payments, fintech, banking, digital assets, or financial services is highly preferred.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese strongly preferred; Russian a plus.
• Proven ability to manage strategic partnerships and deliver commercial results.
• Strong analytical and market‑research capabilities.
