About the role

Advantagy is seeking a Business Development Representative to generate top‑of‑funnel pipeline for a manufacturer expanding into the US market. You will own outbound outreach to distributors, independent reps, retailers and contractor networks, targeting high‑value buyers.

Key responsibilities

  • High‑value outbound outreach to priority accounts such as distributors, independent reps, retailers, contractors and other channel partners.
  • Creative prospecting using phone, email, LinkedIn, direct mail and sample drops to secure first meetings.
  • Pipeline management: respond to replies, qualify interest, book meetings, capture notes and advance opportunities.
  • CRM hygiene and reporting: maintain clean records, log activities and provide weekly recaps of outreach volume, reply rates and meetings booked.
  • Coordinate samples, collateral and pricing by acting as the bridge between the client and prospective buyers.
  • Track buying cycles and time outreach to align with known purchasing windows.
  • Monitor social channels for inbound triggers and coordinate timely responses.
  • Support trade show and event outreach before, during and after the event.
  • Provide feedback to strategy by sharing objections, themes, pricing sensitivity and stakeholder needs.

Required profile

  • 3+ years of B2B outbound sales development experience.
  • Strong written and spoken English; comfortable speaking with US buyers.
  • Some sales and closing experience.
  • Familiarity with selling through distributors, independent reps or other channel partners.
  • CRM fluency and rigorous management.
  • Self‑directed and creative.
  • Comfortable working in a base‑plus‑commission compensation structure.
