Business Development Representative

About the role

MicroSourcing Colombia is seeking a Business Development Representative to work on‑site in Bogota. You will partner with a leading aerial‑imagery client, supporting the sales team by generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and strategic research.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and research potential clients using online tools, networking, and inbound inquiries.
• Conduct high‑volume cold calls, emails, and social‑media outreach to qualify prospects.
• Set appointments and coordinate meetings for senior sales representatives and account executives.
• Maintain an active pipeline in Salesforce, ensuring accurate records and timely follow‑ups.
• Collaborate with inside sales, enterprise sales, and account managers to align outreach and refine messaging.
• Provide regular reports on KPIs such as qualified leads, meetings set, and conversion rates.

Required profile

• Excellent spoken and written American English with a neutral or American accent.
• 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or an entrepreneurial role.
• Proven ability in prospecting, cold calling, and B2B sales.
• Strong multitasking, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
• Familiarity with sales tools such as Gong, Outreach, Chili Piper, and LinkedIn.
