Business Development Specialist

About the role

A fast-growing international digital platform is looking for a Business Development Specialist to support business development across the Colombian and regional markets. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building a client portfolio and developing long-term relationships with prospective clients and external partners, while working closely with internal teams to understand client needs and improve business development processes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and target new customer accounts in the Colombian and regional market.
• Develop and manage a client portfolio through outreach via email, phone and professional networks.
• Present digital platform solutions to prospective clients and support their adoption.
• Build and maintain strong business relationships with clients and external partners.
• Analyze client requirements and align them with relevant partner proposals.
• Oversee projects within the assigned scope and coordinate stakeholders.
• Work with the Growth team to find cross-selling opportunities.
• Contribute to improving business development processes using automation and generative AI tools.

Required profile

• Experience in business development, B2B sales, account development or client portfolio management.
• Knowledge of SaaS, digital platforms, consulting services or technology-driven environments is a plus.
• Master's degree from a business school, engineering school, university or equivalent.
• Fluent English and Spanish.
• Strong interest in B2B prospecting, client relationship development and international business.
