Business Intelligence Team Leader I

About the role

The Business Intelligence Team Leader drives the transformation of data into actionable insights across the organization. You will lead a team of analysts while designing, developing and delivering high‑impact analytics solutions for US‑based stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee Power Query transformations, data modeling, and Power BI semantic models.
• Lead and manage a team of Business Intelligence Analysts, handling backlog, capacity planning and sprint/Kanban processes.
• Partner with business leaders to translate complex questions into analytical solutions and present insights to executive audiences.
• Maintain Google BigQuery datasets, Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse environments, and ensure performance, scalability and cost efficiency.
• Establish quality standards, documentation, peer reviews and visualization best practices.

Required profile

• 2+ years in Business Intelligence or Analytics with dashboard and reporting experience.
• 1+ year of leadership, mentoring or technical lead experience.
• Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder communication and data storytelling abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling).
• Microsoft Fabric (Dataflows Gen2, Lakehouse, data pipelines).
• SQL and Google BigQuery optimization.
• Microsoft 365 Suite, Workday, Microsoft Copilot.
• Python, Git, dbt (preferred).
