Buying Lead – Programmatic & Digital

About the role

The Buying Lead will set strategic direction for programmatic and digital direct initiatives across the dentsu portfolio, guiding a team of specialists to deliver high‑performing campaigns for agency brands such as Carat, dentsuX, and iProspect. The role requires deep expertise in programmatic, paid social, and search, as well as strong leadership and analytical skills.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee programmatic and digital direct strategy and develop tactical recommendations.
• Lead and mentor the account team, fostering collaboration and aligning operations with client goals.
• Drive growth of junior team members through regular 1:1 meetings and mentorship.
• Manage timelines, prioritize deliverables, and enforce operational standards.
• Guide cross‑discipline training to ensure competence in both direct and programmatic campaigns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years of experience in programmatic, paid social, and search.
• Proven experience managing and leading high‑performing digital teams.
• Strong understanding of business concepts, client objectives, and expansion opportunities.
• Exceptional project management, communication, and analytical abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
