CAD Designer (Fire Sprinkler)

About the role

Join an established fire protection company with over 20 years of experience and design fire sprinkler systems for commercial projects. You will create accurate system layouts, collaborate with internal teams, and ensure designs are ready for engineering review.

Key responsibilities

• Design fire sprinkler systems from architectural plans using industry‑standard software.
• Produce complete sprinkler layouts and working drawings for internal review and engineering approval.
• Manage projects in Asana, keep documentation organized, and update project statuses.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction trades as needed.
• Revise plans based on review comments and customer or architectural changes.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in fire sprinkler system design.
• Strong understanding of ICC or NFPA fire protection standards.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple revisions.
• Must reside in Colombia.

Required skills

• AutoSPRINK (preferred) or HydroCAD, SprinkCAD, Revit.
• Proficiency with Asana for project management.
• Knowledge of sprinkler layouts, system components, and hydraulic concepts.
