CAD Designer (Hybrid) – Telecommunications

About the role

The CAD Designer will support the creation of accurate 2‑D and 3‑D technical drawings for telecommunications infrastructure projects. Working in a hybrid setting, the role combines office‑based drafting with occasional field visits to ensure designs meet site requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed 2‑D and 3‑D CAD and Revit drawings for wireless sites, tower structures, rooftop installations and equipment layouts.
• Update and modify existing drawings to reflect design changes, error corrections and compliance with project specifications.
• Maintain standard drawing elements such as templates, title blocks and reusable blocks.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and senior designers to translate requirements into clear technical documentation.
• Perform basic QA/QC checks to verify drawing accuracy and adherence to company and industry standards.
• Organise and archive drawing revisions and project files according to internal procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related technical discipline, or equivalent technical certification with relevant experience.
• Ability to work under guidance of senior staff and meet project deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Revit.
• Experience creating 2‑D and 3‑D technical drawings for construction or telecom projects.
