Cambridge Speaking Examiner – Training & Selection 2026

About the role

International House Bogotá, a Cambridge Authorised Centre, is seeking qualified English language professionals to join its 2026 Cambridge Speaking Examiner training and selection process. Successful candidates will become certified examiners who assess speaking components of Cambridge English exams across Colombia's Caribbean region.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in mandatory Cambridge examiner training and standardisation sessions.
• Conduct speaking examination sessions according to Cambridge assessment standards.
• Provide accurate, unbiased evaluation of candidates' spoken English.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to examination protocols.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Modern Languages, English, Education, or a related field, or equivalent teaching experience.
• Minimum two years of experience teaching English to children, teenagers, or adults.
• Certified C1 or C2 level of English (e.g., Cambridge, IELTS, TOEFL, Aptis, Linguaskill).
• Availability to attend training, standardisation, and examination sessions.

Required skills

• High proficiency in English (C1/C2).
• Experience in teaching or assessing English language skills.
