Carrier Sales Representative

About the role

Serve Freight is seeking a fully remote Carrier Sales Representative based in Colombia to own carrier capacity execution for customer freight. The role works evening hours aligned with US operating times, sourcing carriers, negotiating rates, and ensuring reliable coverage across assigned lanes.

Key responsibilities

• Own carrier sourcing, rate negotiation, and capacity coverage across assigned lanes.
• Manage freight of varying complexity, from standard FTL to specialized and project loads.
• Protect margin while maintaining service reliability and strong carrier relationships.
• Build and maintain a dependable network of repeat carrier partners.
• Resolve carrier issues and service exceptions quickly and professionally.
• Partner closely with customer sales and operations teams to ensure clean execution.
• Maintain accurate, timely records within TMS systems.
• Provide ongoing market feedback on pricing, capacity, and lane conditions.

Required profile

• 1-2+ years of carrier sales, freight brokerage, or logistics experience.
• Fluent professional English (C1 or higher) for daily negotiation with US carriers.
• Ability to independently source and cover freight while managing margin.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
• Organized, dependable, and accountable in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with load boards.
• Familiarity with TMS platforms.
