Chief Financial Officer – Energy Technology Company

About the role

The CFO will act as a strategic partner to the CEO, shaping financial strategy, capital allocation and overseeing the finance function. This senior leader will translate growth ambitions into a clear financial roadmap and build the systems, controls and team needed to scale.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis, providing visibility into margins, unit economics and ROI.
• Own cash flow, treasury, working capital and liquidity planning, managing bank and investor relationships and leading debt/equity financing.
• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, tax, audits and internal controls, ensuring accurate statements and timely management reporting.
• Prepare board materials, communicate performance and risks, and maintain strong investor relationships.
• Build and develop a finance team, establishing clear ownership, performance expectations and automation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CFO, VP of Finance or senior finance leader with full ownership of financial strategy and operations.
• Track record in a high‑growth business, including building or strengthening the finance function.
• Strong commercial judgment and ability to link financial decisions to business performance.
• Fluency in Spanish and English; experience in energy, utilities or regulated sectors is a plus.
