Clinical Project Manager – Colombia

About the role

The Clinical Project Manager will serve as the primary liaison for North American sponsors, leading cross‑functional teams and third‑party vendors across multiple time zones. This remote‑first position requires close collaboration with US/Canada stakeholders to ensure project milestones, quality, and compliance are met.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for North American sponsors and stakeholders for assigned studies.
• Lead and coordinate cross‑functional team leaders, third parties, and vendors across multiple time zones, aligning with North American project timelines.
• Manage contractual deliverables, milestone payments, and quality assurance.
• Control project scope, costs, and financial risk.
• Ensure adherence to company SOPs, policies, and regulatory guidelines, including GCP, ICH, and local Colombian regulations.
• Utilize Tigermed systems such as CTMS, OA, and eTMF, escalating issues as needed.
• Support bid defense processes in coordination with North American business development teams.
• Provide training, performance feedback, and build an effective remote‑first team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical, Pharmacology, Biology or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Current GCP certification.
• Minimum 10 years of industry experience, including at least 6 years in project management; CRO experience preferred.
• Experience managing projects remotely with North American sponsors or cross‑border teams.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong cross‑cultural communication and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Familiarity with clinical trial management systems (CTMS, OA, eTMF).
