Closing Analyst

About the role

World Business Lenders is seeking a Closing Analyst to manage the final stages of loan funding for its U.S. commercial lending portfolio. This fully remote contract role works standard Eastern Time hours and supports a fast‑paced, remote‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review loan files from Processing to ensure all required documents are present and accurate before closing.
• Coordinate with Production, Title, Underwriting and other departments to keep the closing process on schedule.
• Prepare, verify and execute loan and mortgage documents, schedule notary appointments, and assemble funding packages.
• Obtain and exchange required documentation with Title companies and investors, ensuring compliance with all closing conditions.
• Maintain data integrity in the loan origination system and support additional projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, Real Estate or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in lending, mortgage, or real‑estate closing environments.
• Hands‑on expertise with collateral documentation for commercial and residential purchase and refinance transactions.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with internal CRMs such as Monday.com and Quick Base.
