Community Manager – Social Media, DMs & Design

About the role

Somia is seeking a Community Manager who will own day‑to‑day social engagement across three core accounts, turning conversations into qualified leads. The role blends real‑time interaction, content publishing, and polished design to support the company’s health‑and‑wellness education mission.

Key responsibilities

• Handle DMs, comments and story replies, recognize buying signals, and guide prospects toward the appropriate Somia offer using a warm, human tone.
• Monitor and respond to comments on all three accounts, moving relevant discussions into DMs and coordinating hand‑offs with a Philippines VA.
• Schedule and publish approved posts, stories and campaign assets, tracking publication status and ensuring follow‑up engagement.
• Create polished social graphics, carousels, stories and campaign assets in Canva, Figma, Photoshop or Illustrator, maintaining brand consistency.
• Report audience questions, objections and sales patterns, keep inbox organization clear, and improve DM/comment processes.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience managing social media accounts, including DMs and comments.
• Comfort moving private conversations toward conversion without being pushy.
• Strong portfolio of social‑media or digital design work, especially carousel and campaign graphics.
• Excellent written English and ability to match an established brand voice.
• Proactive, organized and responsive, able to work remotely with a distributed team.
• Experience in education, wellness, health or online programs is a plus.

Required skills

• ManyChat or similar DM automation/shared‑inbox platforms.
• Meta Business Suite or other social‑media scheduling tools.
• Canva for reusable templates.
• Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator (or comparable design tools).
