Compliance Manager

About the role

The Compliance Manager will design, implement and oversee the compliance framework for GenesisFX Markets, ensuring all activities align with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies. This full‑time hybrid position is based in Medellín, offering a mix of on‑site and remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor regulatory developments affecting trading and financial markets.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and maintain robust policies and procedures.
• Review and approve internal and client‑facing documentation.
• Perform internal audits and manage reporting to regulatory bodies.
• Train team members on compliance requirements and manage incident escalation and investigations.
• Collaborate with technology, operations, legal and risk teams to embed compliance controls into systems and processes.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of financial‑markets regulation, especially Forex, derivatives and online trading platforms.
• Experience developing and updating compliance frameworks, policies, procedures and control structures.
• Proficiency in compliance monitoring, internal auditing and risk assessment.
• Familiarity with AML/KYC standards, transaction monitoring and fraud‑prevention best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, Economics or related field; compliance certifications (e.g., CAMS, CRCM, ICA) are a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in a compliance, risk management or regulatory role within financial services or trading.
