Compliance Specialist II - Whistleblowing

About the role

Worley, a global professional services company of energy, chemicals and resources experts, is looking for a Compliance Specialist II to join its global Compliance team. The role helps promote and manage the Speak Up programme, which focuses on ethics hotline cases, and produces Management Information Reports.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the triage of reports received by the Speak Up team and lodge reports on behalf of reporters in the confidential case management system
• Maintain cases in the confidential system and liaise with investigators to follow up on actions and with reporters of concerns
• Produce management information reports and monitor and answer queries coming through the Speak Up mailboxes
• Track that all remedial actions are completed and handle ad-hoc administrative requests from investigators
• Promote awareness of the Speak Up programme and help develop internal controls and procedures to improve it

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in corporate ethics hotlines, in Compliance, Legal or Risk Management, with a focus on whistleblowing or complex internal investigations across multiple geographies
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
• Strong understanding of laws, regulations and standards in several jurisdictions, including whistleblowing, data privacy and employment law
• Ability to manage day-to-day challenges, timelines and global time zones independently
• Adherence to Worley's Code of Conduct and values

• Excellent analytical, investigative and communication skills, with strong writing and attention to detail
• Regulatory intelligence: staying up to date on regulatory developments and industry best practices in whistleblowing, data privacy and employment law
• Strong IT skills including Excel and PowerPoint
