Compliance Training Assistant

About the role

The Compliance Training Assistant supports the Compliance Department’s daily operations, ensuring Viamericas adheres to BSA regulations and strengthens its AML program. This entry‑level position involves reviewing training documentation, scoring participants, and assisting with compliance holds.

Key responsibilities

• Review training documentation, assign scores, and organize files for the Applications department.
• Generate participation certificates, fax and mail copies to agents, and produce monthly training reports.
• Resolve compliance holds, provide advice on transactional holds, and support release of held transactions.
• Liaise with correspondents for information requests and prepare required certificates, licenses, and letters for agents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent on‑the‑job learning and experience.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet time‑sensitive deadlines, and work shift hours including evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong written communication and documentation abilities.
