Construction Design Associate

About the role

Heirloom is seeking a Construction Design Associate to support its Construction and Set‑Up Design teams. Working closely with senior design leaders, you will help source materials, specify fixtures and finishes, and manage design documentation for a variety of hospitality projects.

Key responsibilities

• Produce design drawings, including floor plans, interior elevations, and detail sections.
• Handle construction administration tasks such as submittals, shop drawings, ID sets, and CFAs.
• Source and specify lighting, plumbing fixtures, finishes, furniture, décor, art, and accessories that align with brand standards.
• Collaborate with the Procurement team to place, track, receive, and manage returns of orders.
• Maintain project organization, update budgets, and communicate project status.
• Develop and uphold project management processes and a construction finish library.
• Track billable hours and business expenses per company policy.
• Support the Operations team with remote assistance during installation phases.
