Construction Project Coordinator – Pre‑Construction (Remote)

About the role

Dudonis Construction, a family‑owned residential builder in Northern New Jersey, is looking for a detail‑oriented Construction Project Coordinator to manage all pre‑construction activities remotely. You will work closely with Project Managers to ensure every project is fully defined, documented, and ready for field execution.

Key responsibilities

• Support pre‑construction planning to enable efficient project starts.
• Organize timelines, budgets, estimates, and all project documentation.
• Coordinate subcontractor outreach, collect bids, and compare proposals.
• Review plans and scopes of work for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare detailed handoff packages for field and construction teams.
• Track selections, approvals, permits, and all pre‑start requirements.
• Communicate with internal teams, architects, designers, and vendors to resolve issues early.
• Maintain organized project records within construction‑management systems.
• Identify risks and proactively escalate potential issues.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in construction coordination, estimating, or project support.
• Strong understanding of residential construction processes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management, and communication skills.
• Reliable, professional, and accountable in a remote work environment.

Required skills

• Experience with construction software such as JobTread, Buildertrend, or CoConstruct.
