Consultant Roster – Outbreak Preparedness & Health Response

About the role

CORE Group, on behalf of the CORE Group Partners Project (CGPP), is building a roster of highly qualified health consultants who can be rapidly deployed to support outbreak preparedness, readiness and response in high‑risk countries. The roster covers Ebola, polio eradication, maternal and child health, and other priority public‑health threats.

Key responsibilities

• Support surveillance, case investigation, contact tracing, and alert management at national, district or border levels.
• Provide technical assistance to ministries of health and partner organizations to close response gaps.
• Mentor frontline teams through field visits, assess implementation quality, and resolve operational bottlenecks.
• Lead risk communication and community‑engagement activities, including infodemic management.
• Facilitate cross‑border coordination, point‑of‑entry support, and digital systems integration.

Required profile

• Health professional with experience in field epidemiology, emergency response, or maternal and child health.
• Proven ability to work in multi‑stakeholder environments and adapt to varying country contexts.
• Willingness to travel frequently to field sites and work under tight timelines.
