Corporate Finance Analyst - Structure Finance

About the role

The role involves supporting client primary analysts to arrive at and monitor credit ratings for issuers across various industries. The analyst will conduct surveillance of a portfolio of companies and respond to market events that could affect ratings.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and update credit ratings for issuers across multiple sectors.
• Conduct surveillance of a portfolio of companies, analysing industry dynamics, regulatory trends and macro‑economic risks.
• Evaluate competitive positioning, strategy execution and profitability trends, including peer comparisons.
• Analyse financial performance by reviewing accounting standards, financial governance, ratio trends, liquidity and capital structure.
• Prepare detailed historical and projected financial models to support rating decisions.
• Draft comprehensive internal credit research reports and notes covering operational and financial factors.
• Assist primary analysts in producing publishable credit reports while adhering to compliance, confidentiality and information‑security policies.

Required profile

• Prior experience analysing companies' financial and operational performance.
• Sharp analytical thought process with a solid understanding of accounting and financial analysis concepts.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
