Corporate Procurement Specialist / Senior Specialist

About the role

The IDB Group is seeking three motivated Corporate Procurement Specialists/Senior Specialists to lead procurement teams in Technology & Information Systems, Consulting Firms, and Construction Services. Based at the Washington, D.C. headquarters, you will coordinate end‑to‑end procurement activities and ensure transparent, value‑for‑money use of institutional resources.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate corporate procurement for goods, services, and consulting firms within the assigned specialization.
• Provide technical guidance, assign tasks, plan workloads, review outputs, and coach team members to ensure timely delivery.
• Lead complex procurement processes, including RFPs, supplier evaluations, contract drafting, negotiations, and contract administration.
• Review and validate supplier analyses, cost and non‑price evaluations, and support sound procurement decisions.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate procurement‑related risks, including vendor and integrity risks.
• Manage procurement data collection, quality assurance, visualization, and strategic use to improve reporting and operational efficiency.

• Proven experience in corporate procurement, contract management, and risk assessment.
• Strong supervisory and coordination abilities with a focus on quality and consistency.
• Ability to work independently and support hiring and contracting processes.
