CPA Accountant – Full-Time in Bogota

About the role

BVP is seeking a permanent CPA Accountant to join its growing finance team in Bogota. You will support a diverse portfolio of global clients, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance while collaborating with North‑American and Colombian teammates.

Key responsibilities

• Organize and update digital and physical financial records.
• Analyze transactions, prepare monthly, annual (BS, PL, CF) reports and ad‑hoc analyses.
• Participate in payroll processing, tracking employee hours and allocations.
• Conduct detailed audits of financial documents, expenditures and investments.
• Forecast revenue, analyze profit margins and oversee ledger reconciliation.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and support budgeting processes.
• Liaise with tax accountants to monitor tax payments and returns.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, stay current on regulatory changes, and ensure confidentiality of financial information.

Required profile

• BSc degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA certification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a CPA or senior accountant.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, local tax regulations and accounting procedures.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and high integrity.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with QuickBooks (preferred) and Zoho accounting software.
