CSR Transport Dispatcher (Port Drayage)

About the role

Salvatech, which connects Colombian talent with international companies, is hiring a CSR Transport Dispatcher for a Colombian position, 100% remote. You will act as the main contact between U.S. customers and the operations team of a trucking company specializing in port drayage, managing container orders from intake to billing and closing each order with the right charges and documentation. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM Pacific Time, with some Saturdays possible; U.S. holidays are off, Colombian holidays may be working days.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process customer orders, enter them into the internal system and monitor container status.
• Send customers daily container updates by email or spreadsheet, covering in-transit, on-hold and available statuses.
• Schedule port appointments once containers are available and coordinate delivery appointments.
• Work with the equipment team on live unloads so empty equipment is returned promptly.
• Notify customers of completed deliveries and send the Proof of Delivery (POD).
• Compile all applicable charges, update the system for billing and notify the billing team by email when an order is closed.
• Support other operational tasks as assigned by the team.

Required profile

• Experience in transportation or logistics, with a basic understanding of port operations.
• Advanced English (B2+) written and spoken for daily customer communication.
• Ability to work independently, solve problems and take ownership of responsibilities.
• Strong organization and attention to detail, able to handle several container orders at once.
• Full availability for the schedule, including occasional Saturdays.

Required skills

• Basic Excel skills.
• Familiarity with online portals and internal systems.
• Nice to have: bilingual Spanish and English, track-and-trace, port appointment and POD experience, TMS experience, and previous customer service or dispatch experience with a U.S. trucking company.
