Customer Care & Sales Assistant – Andean (Hybrid, Bogotá)

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Care and Sales Assistant to join IFF’s Food Ingredients team in Bogotá. Working in a hybrid setting, you will support sales and commercial operations across the Andean region, providing analytical insights and ensuring smooth coordination between internal functions and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Produce reports, track KPIs and deliver performance insights to sales teams.
• Create sales presentations and dashboards for business reviews.
• Monitor pipeline health, flag risks and identify growth opportunities.
• Handle customer requests, including documentation, certifications and compliance.
• Coordinate product sample shipments and follow up on delivery timelines.
• Maintain customer platforms and commercial data.
• Support vendor management through purchase requisitions and follow‑ups.
• Assist with travel, expense processing and internal administrative tasks.
• Act as liaison between Sales, Finance, Supply Chain and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in customer service, sales support or commercial operations (internship experience considered).
• Strong analytical mindset with proven reporting and data‑analysis abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• High attention to detail and strong written and spoken English.
• Experience in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Microsoft Office suite.
• ERP systems such as SAP (preferred).
