Data Analytics Lead

About the role

As a Data Analytics Lead in the Finance Evolution Data Analytics team, you will drive insight‑driven finance capabilities for a global leader in tools and industrial equipment. This remote position involves leading senior analysts and engineers, managing high‑visibility projects, and partnering with Finance leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of senior data analysts and data engineers, overseeing large‑scale initiatives and vendor collaborations.
• Oversee multiple cross‑functional analytics projects with numerous stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Finance leadership to ensure financial applications meet functional requirements.
• Drive strategic reporting initiatives through scalable analytics and business intelligence solutions.
• Design and develop dashboards, visualizations, and reporting tools that generate actionable insights.
• Reduce manual processes through automation and standardized data pipelines.
• Mentor and coach analysts across functional domains, fostering continuous learning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in finance analytics, business intelligence, data engineering or related analytical roles.
• 2+ years of leadership experience managing teams, major projects or financial systems initiatives.
• Experience with SAP Finance and related financial systems.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
