Data Architect (Boomi)

About the role

CI&T is seeking a Senior Data Architect specialized in integrations to lead a modernization initiative for a leading digital commerce client in Colombia. The role will serve as the technical reference for unifying data across ERP, CRM, finance, inventory and the customer‑facing platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and document end‑to‑end integration architecture, covering real‑time, batch and event‑driven patterns across legacy systems, e‑commerce platforms, SaaS ecosystems and micro‑services.
• Develop and optimise integration flows on the Boomi platform, leveraging native connectors, multiple connection points and advanced scripting (Groovy/JavaScript) for reliable data synchronization.
• Define best‑practice standards, naming conventions and component reuse to ensure consistency across integration teams.
• Establish centralized logging, auditing and exception‑handling for full traceability of business‑critical data flows.
• Perform infrastructure sizing, manage environment promotions and version control, and provide technical leadership through code reviews and mentoring.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise integration architectures (middleware, ESB or iPaaS).
• Deep hands‑on expertise with the Boomi integration platform (AtomSphere, API Management, Atom/Molecule, EDI/B2B).
• Experience integrating ERP, CRM and e‑commerce systems via connectors and APIs.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 or above) and strong analytical, systemic thinking.
