Data Associate Analyst

About the role

The Data Science Solutions team is establishing a new global hub in Colombia and needs a Data Associate Analyst to help build and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and dashboards that support model operations, monitoring, and reporting. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure data reliability and readiness for analytics use cases.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient Python and SQL code for data wrangling, transformation, and validation.
• Develop and maintain batch data pipelines and ETL workflows using tools such as Airflow.
• Create and manage dashboards for model health monitoring using Power BI or similar tools.
• Document data mappings, process diagrams, and contribute to operational documentation.
• Participate in issue resolution, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement of data workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics or a related quantitative field.
• 2‑4+ years of relevant experience or equivalent academic/project work.
• Fluency in English (C1 level) and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional, global environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow.
• Familiarity with Power BI or other dashboarding/reporting tools.
• Knowledge of ETL processes, batch processing, and data pipeline development.
• Exposure to Spark, NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), Git, and CI/CD practices.
