Data Lead – Cali, Colombia

About the role

We are looking for a Data Lead to strengthen our data infrastructure and drive advanced analytics initiatives. The role blends deep technical expertise in data engineering with a strategic mindset to ensure data reliability and performance at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure data systems meet business requirements and industry standards for integrity and speed.
• Design, build, and maintain large‑scale data pipelines using SQL, Python, Redshift, DBT and Databricks.
• Implement robust data ingestion, modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Apply data manipulation and transformation techniques to solve complex problems.
• Document all processes, procedures, and architectural decisions in detail.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a comparable role.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work from the Cali office at least one day per week.
