Databricks Solution Architect

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Databricks Solution Architect to design, build, and deliver scalable enterprise data solutions on the Databricks platform. The role involves translating business and technical requirements into robust architecture and providing technical leadership to engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable Databricks‑based data and Lakehouse architectures for enterprise environments.
• Define solution architecture, technical standards, design patterns, and best practices for Databricks implementations.
• Architect large‑scale data processing solutions using Apache Spark, PySpark/Python, SQL, and Hive.
• Lead technical design discussions, create architecture diagrams, and produce technical documentation.
• Review existing Databricks deployments and recommend performance and architectural improvements.
• Support proofs of concept, technical evaluations, and new data initiative decisions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Databricks and strong expertise in Python/PySpark.
• Advanced knowledge of Apache Spark, SQL, Hive, and modern Lakehouse architecture.
• Proven ability to design large‑scale ETL/ELT pipelines and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Experience providing technical leadership and communicating complex concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
