Demand Planner (Portuguese Speaker)

About the role

We are looking for a Demand Planner who speaks Portuguese to join our Manufacturing & Supply Services hub in Bogotá. The role will be responsible for generating and managing accurate customer demand signals using Sanofi’s planning platform (Kinaxis) and ensuring alignment between business units, markets and supply functions.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse past and future demand drivers such as tenders, market share, price changes, product life‑cycle events, promotions and out‑of‑stock situations from Business Units.
• Integrate statistical forecasts with local market insights, adjusting models only when it improves accuracy.
• Maintain high‑quality master data in planning and ERP systems, applying appropriate demand‑planning parameters (code switches, disaggregation rules, phase‑in/out, sales attributes).
• Consolidate forecasts from multiple markets, validate assumptions and ensure a coherent final demand plan.
• Capture active and inactive opportunities to support scenario planning and supply‑constraint analysis.
• Monitor significant deviations from forecast, budget and market trends, providing root‑cause analysis for short‑term S&OE updates.

Required profile

• Fluent Portuguese and proficient English communication skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate market conditions into actionable data.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams such as Commercial, Regulatory, Finance and Supply Chain.
• Detail‑oriented and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Kinaxis or similar advanced planning tools.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and master‑data management.
• Knowledge of statistical forecasting techniques.
