Demand Planner – South Region

About the role

The Demand Planner for the South Region will own the end‑to‑end demand planning process, translating market insights, tender information and product launches into accurate forecasts using IBP. Working closely with commercial, marketing, finance and regulatory teams, the role ensures the supply chain is aligned with business objectives and can react to risks and opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Combine statistical forecasting models with local market knowledge to produce a reliable demand plan.
• Lead the monthly demand review, gather insights from sales and marketing, and obtain forecast consensus sign‑off.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and finance to analyse tenders and build “what‑if” scenarios that support regional decisions.
• Maintain and operate the event‑driven planning tool in IBP for driver‑based planning.
• Participate in annual budgeting and quarterly estimate cycles, providing demand consensus to guide financial planning.
• Drive the S&OP process, acting as a bridge between local teams and the global supply chain.
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as forecast accuracy, bias, inventory levels (DSOH), and service levels (DIFOT).

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in demand planning or supply‑chain forecasting.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and influence business decisions.
• Comfortable handling tender‑driven markets and building risk‑opportunity scenarios.
• Business‑partner orientation with a focus on continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Statistical forecasting techniques and model adjustment.
• Proficiency with IBP (Integrated Business Planning) tools.
• Experience with Vantage demand‑finance alignment process.
• Knowledge of S&OP processes and KPI monitoring.
