DevOps Engineer

About the role

As a DevOps Engineer at Capgemini Engineering, you will act as the bridge between our platform engineering team and the broader developer community. You will help users understand the value of our platform, drive engagement, and foster adoption through thought leadership, technical content, hands‑on support, and community building.

Key responsibilities

• Translate platform capabilities into clear, compelling messaging for internal and external developers.
• Create and deliver technical presentations, demos, and hands‑on workshops.
• Produce technical content such as blogs, tutorials, and best‑practice guides.
• Engage with developer communities, open‑source projects, and internal practice groups.
• Represent the platform at conferences, meetups, and webinars.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD, DevSecOps, and cloud‑native technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Proven ability to tell stories that simplify complex technical concepts.
• Experience working with developer communities or open‑source projects is a plus.
• Prior public‑speaking experience at conferences, meetups, or webinars is preferred.
• BS or MS in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, software development, or related roles.
