DevOps Engineer

About the role

As a DevOps Engineer at Rapyd you will build, automate, and maintain a global fintech infrastructure on AWS. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure high platform availability, improve CI/CD pipelines, and create clean Infrastructure as Code.

Key responsibilities

• Write and maintain Terraform modules and Python scripts to provision cloud resources.
• Deploy, monitor, and support microservices on Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker containers.
• Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Support multi‑account AWS architectures, including VPC design, routing, and security controls.
• Implement observability with CloudWatch, Datadog, or the ELK stack and assist with cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with SOC 2, PCI‑DSS and other security standards.
• Participate in system health monitoring, incident troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, SRE or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to work in distributed global teams.
• Experience operating production environments in AWS.

Required skills

• AWS (multi‑account, VPC, security, CloudWatch).
• Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Python scripting.
• Kubernetes/EKS and Docker container orchestration.
• CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins.
• Observability tools: Datadog, ELK stack.
• Understanding of networking concepts, VPC routing, and security principles.
• Familiarity with compliance standards (SOC 2, PCI‑DSS).
