DevOps Support Lead

About the role

Medtronic, a global healthcare technology company, is looking for a DevOps Support Lead to establish and maintain DevOps governance, standards and operational excellence across software delivery and production support environments. The role partners with global teams on deployment readiness, compliance, monitoring, incident management and continuous improvement of DevOps processes, within a global healthcare technology environment. It is a remote position; candidates based in Bogotá or its surroundings are preferred, but qualified candidates across Colombia will also be considered.

Key responsibilities

• Lead DevOps governance and promote best practices across software delivery and production support environments.
• Ensure deployments, infrastructure and applications meet quality, cybersecurity and compliance standards.
• Support release management, including deployment readiness, testing validation and rollback planning.
• Drive incident, problem and change management to improve operational stability and service reliability.
• Collaborate with global DevOps, Operations, Security and managed service teams to set and maintain operational standards.
• Promote continuous improvement through monitoring, observability, documentation and governance practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience as a DevOps Engineer supporting development, deployment and operational environments.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, compliance and governance processes.
• English at C1-C2 level.
• Experience with global teams in regulated environments and enterprise-scale solutions is desirable.
