DevSecOps Engineer

About the role

Plan A Technologies is seeking a seasoned DevSecOps Engineer to drive security, compliance, and operational excellence across multiple AWS environments. You will be responsible for building resilient infrastructure, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring a strong security posture aligned with industry frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage infrastructure across development and production environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to increase deployment speed and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with NIST 800-53 Rev 5, CIS AWS Foundations Benchmark v3.0.0, and achieve a minimum 90% SLA Security Score.
• Monitor and remediate security findings using AWS CloudWatch, GuardDuty, AWS Config, and related tooling.
• Lead incident response, troubleshoot production issues, and document architecture and security controls.
• Support cloud migrations, integrations, and disaster‑recovery planning.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or security engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

• AWS (including S3, CloudWatch, GuardDuty, Config)
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK
• CI/CD pipeline development and automation
• Security compliance frameworks (NIST 800‑53 Rev 5, CIS AWS Foundations Benchmark)
