Director, AI & Data Strategy Enterprise Engagement

About the role

Mastercard’s AI & Data organization is looking for a Director to lead the Enterprise Engagement team. The role will shape an AI‑powered intake platform that guides users from idea generation through to execution readiness, enabling scalable, agent‑driven workflows across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Design and improve the user experience for discovering, submitting, and refining AI use cases.
• Own core components of the AI‑driven intake platform, such as user interfaces, agent workflows, decision logic, or context layers.
• Apply a “do, then automate” approach to convert manual processes into scalable, automated workflows.
• Partner with business units to translate real‑world needs into intelligent guidance and decision frameworks.
• Collaborate with AI Strategy, Engineering, Legal, and Governance teams to embed enterprise platforms and compliance requirements.
• Drive stakeholder adoption of the platform as the primary entry point for AI and data initiatives.
• Produce system artifacts including agent workflows, decision models, user journeys, and automated guidance.
• Gather feedback and continuously refine platform intelligence and user experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in either user‑facing experience design & engagement or technical implementation of AI solutions, including agents and workflow integration.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into actionable, intelligent system designs.
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams such as engineering, legal, and governance.
• Leadership mindset capable of influencing stakeholders and driving adoption at enterprise scale.
