Director of Client Services Implementations

About the role

Visa is seeking a senior leader to oversee the Acceptance Implementations organization across Latin America. The Director will define regional strategy, build capabilities and ensure world‑class outcomes for Visa’s Acceptance ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Set and execute the regional implementation strategy aligned with Visa’s business objectives.
• Lead a team of Implementation Managers delivering products such as Payment Gateway, Secure Acceptance, Token Management Services and Digital Payments.
• Act as executive sponsor for high‑profile implementations and manage complex escalations.
• Monitor performance through metrics, manage resource planning and drive automation and AI‑enabled process improvements.

Required profile

• 10+ years in payments, financial services or software delivery, with 5+ years in leadership of technical or professional services teams.
• Proven experience leading large, geographically distributed enterprise implementations.
• Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; Portuguese a plus.

Required skills

• Payment Gateway, Secure Acceptance, Decision Manager, Token Management Services, Network Tokenization, Payer Authentication (3DS), Digital Payments, Click to Pay.
• API integrations, REST services, cloud architecture and modern software development practices.
• Knowledge of PCI DSS, tokenization, fraud management and e‑commerce payment ecosystems.
