Director of Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Operations to lead the day‑to‑day functioning of our wellness sanctuary located just outside Medellín, Colombia. Working closely with the CEO and Founder, you will ensure world‑class guest experiences and support a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the entire campus
• Lead and develop the team, fostering a culture of accountability, ownership and excellence
• Deliver a world‑class guest experience
• Manage guest advocates and scheduling
• Supervise hospitality, housekeeping, wellness operations, food service and property operations
• Coordinate with medical and wellness teams to ensure seamless guest care
• Maintain exceptional cleanliness, organization and presentation throughout the property
• Create, implement and improve systems, checklists and Standard Operating Procedures
• Manage purchasing, inventory, vendor relationships and expense control
• Monitor staffing levels, scheduling, overtime and operational efficiency
• Work with accounting to ensure accurate bookkeeping, financial reporting and internal controls
• Oversee property maintenance, gardens, landscaping and facility readiness
• Recruit, develop and retain outstanding employees
• Respond confidently to operational or guest emergencies
• Continuously improve every aspect of the guest and employee experience
