Driver Recruiter

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and results‑driven Driver Recruiter to source, screen, and recruit qualified Class A CDL drivers to meet hiring goals and support ongoing transportation operations.

Key responsibilities

• Source qualified driver candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, cold calling, and other recruitment channels.
• Recruit, screen, interview, and submit qualified applicants for further processing.
• Meet the target of hiring three qualified drivers per week within assigned hiring areas.
• Manage candidate applications and maintain accurate records in the Tenstreet ATS.
• Prepare offer letters for approved applicants.
• Maintain an active recruitment pipeline to meet ongoing hiring needs.
• Respond promptly to candidate calls, emails, applications, resumes, and referrals.
• Conduct direct sourcing and follow‑up with potential candidates.
• Track recruitment activities, calls, and referrals in the applicant tracking system.
• Travel as needed to support recruitment efforts in assigned hiring areas.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of Class A driver recruiting experience.
• Experience with cold calling and direct sourcing.
• Experience using Tenstreet ATS.
• Excellent phone communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to type at least 40 WPM with high accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Ability to manage multiple candidates and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
