E-Commerce Growth & Marketing Strategist

About the role

A growing e-commerce business is looking for a full-time, remote E-Commerce Growth & Marketing Strategist based in Colombia, Mexico or LATAM, working U.S. Eastern Time. The role is not about managing campaigns but about identifying growth opportunities, challenging existing strategies and shaping the marketing direction of the business. The pay is $13-$15 per hour depending on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with leadership to identify new growth opportunities and develop innovative digital marketing approaches.
• Develop new customer acquisition and revenue opportunities beyond traditional Google and email marketing.
• Build strategies for Meta, Instagram, TikTok and emerging platforms to turn attention into measurable results.
• Analyze customer behavior, identify market gaps and propose data-backed solutions.
• Design, test and optimize growth initiatives using meaningful KPIs and experimentation.
• Explore emerging trends, creator partnerships and campaigns that differentiate the brand.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, technology and leadership to turn ideas into scalable growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience in e-commerce, digital growth or performance marketing, ideally with direct responsibility for revenue growth.
• Track record of developing or improving marketing strategies, not just maintaining campaigns.
• Ability to connect creative ideas with data, customer acquisition costs, conversions and profitability.
• Curious, analytical mindset and the confidence to challenge conventional approaches.
• Bias toward action: identifies opportunities and knows how to test and execute them.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present business cases to leadership.
• Experience with U.S. e-commerce consumers and markets is a strong advantage.
