Economic and Financial Senior Analyst – Water Practice

About the role

Castalia is looking for an Economic and Financial Senior Analyst to join its Water Practice in Bogotá. You will apply your analytical expertise to help water utilities improve performance, develop climate‑resilient water plans, and attract private capital for municipal water and sanitation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct economic and financial analysis and modeling for water sector projects, including feasibility studies and financing structures.
• Work with governments, utilities, regulators, DFIs, and infrastructure investors to design plans, regulations, and financing mechanisms.
• Prepare clear, compelling reports and presentations in both Spanish and English for diverse stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Public Policy, Engineering, Business or a related field.
• At least three years of relevant professional experience, preferably in consulting, infrastructure finance, or working with public‑sector water entities.
• Authorization to work in Colombia and fluency in Spanish and professional English.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, including economic and financial modeling.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
