About the role
The Columbus School is looking for enthusiastic Elementary Homeroom Teachers to join our vibrant community in Envigado, Colombia. You will be responsible for creating a supportive and engaging classroom environment for young learners, fostering both academic growth and personal development.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess curriculum for elementary grades.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support school initiatives.
- Participate in professional development and school events.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Current teaching license valid for elementary education.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
- Minimum of two years teaching experience.
- Commitment to start in July.
Required skills
- Strong classroom management abilities.
- Effective communication in English.
- Ability to design age‑appropriate lesson plans.
