About the role

Join Hitachi Energy's Engineering team in Dosquebradas to support the design and manufacturing of power transformers. As an Engineering Assistant you will ensure accurate material data, technical documentation, and project information are available throughout the production process.

Key responsibilities

• Create and release Bills of Materials (BOMs) and material master data in SAP S/4HANA.
• Maintain engineering project information, technical documentation, and supplier catalogs.
• Coordinate communication between Engineering, Procurement, Planning, and Production teams.
• Compile instruction manuals, quality certifications, technical protocols, and project documentation.
• Prepare technical drawings and planimetry for metal‑mechanical component procurement.
• Monitor engineering KPIs and support performance reporting.

Required profile

• Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Intermediate English proficiency, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Inventor.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA or other ERP systems.
• Experience managing technical databases and engineering documentation.
