Facade Project Manager

About the role

DeSimone is seeking a Facade Project Manager to lead the technical delivery of façade design and consultancy services for a variety of high‑performance building envelope projects. The role involves coordinating with architects, owners, contractors and internal teams while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key responsibilities

• Lead façade design and consulting projects from planning through construction, ensuring scope, schedule, budget and quality are met.
• Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, drawings, calculations and conduct building‑enclosure assessments, inspections and forensic investigations.
• Evaluate contractor submittals, shop drawings and product data, and provide technical recommendations on durability, sustainability and constructability.
• Mentor junior staff, support recruitment efforts and contribute to business development activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related field; licensure in Architecture or Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of façade design, engineering and building envelope inspection experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, identify risks and communicate updates to stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, Bluebeam Revu, LBNL Therm, Window, Optics.
• Strong computer literacy with Microsoft Office and Teams.
