Field Administrator

About the role

The Field Administrator will support Global Emergency Group’s field office in Bogota, providing essential administrative and financial assistance for monitoring humanitarian programmes. This part‑time consultancy (20 hours per week) runs from August to September 2026, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination and documentation of field monitoring activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records, invoices and expense reports for the field office.
• Prepare and disseminate regular reports on programme findings to clients and internal teams.
• Manage correspondence with implementing partners, community leaders and beneficiaries.
• Support logistics such as scheduling visits, arranging travel and handling procurement requests.

Required profile

• Experience in administrative or financial support within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

• Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
