Finance Associate - FP&A Analyst

About the role

Elanco, a global animal health company, is looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst in Bogota, Colombia. The role supports the finance team by improving reporting, forecasting and commercial analysis processes, covering recurring sales, gross margin, operating expenses, profit and loss and innovation reports, as well as discount, rebate and gross-to-net (G2N) calculations. The position is hybrid (50% home, 50% office) and is offered on a one-year fixed-term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and analyse daily sales reporting, monthly gross margin reporting, recurring OPEX, P&L and order reports using advanced Excel and Power BI.
• Support G2N processes, including price list control, commercial terms tracking and the calculation and settlement of discounts and rebates.
• Build and maintain quarterly forecast templates for sales and OPEX, and quarterly G2N templates.
• Carry out variance analysis to explain business performance and financial results.
• Optimise, automate and document FP&A processes, and manage bi-monthly innovation reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Financial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience in FP&A, commercial or business controlling or related finance roles.
• Intermediate English (B2).
• Preferred: knowledge of Python, experience in consumer goods FP&A or controlling, and experience with forecast, G2N, gross margin and OPEX reporting.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI for financial reporting, data analysis and process automation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across functions.
