Finance Credit Supervisor

About the role

Lead the Credit Control function for the North American market, ensuring effective credit risk management, compliance with financial policies, and timely escalation of critical exposures.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the Credit Control team, managing pending cases, releases, and escalations in line with financial policies.
• Analyze credit limits, unsecured exposures and credit‑related risks, optimizing credit lines while maintaining risk controls.
• Assess the business impact of credit decisions on shipments and operations, communicating and escalating issues that may affect loads.
• Collaborate with North American stakeholders, applying knowledge of internal systems and credit processes.
• Provide guidance, coaching and support to Credit Control Specialists, fostering a high‑performance team culture.

Required profile

• Professional degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or Credit Risk.
• Proven people leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• B2+ English proficiency with strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Credit Management and Credit Risk.
• Experience with internal financial systems, particularly ACON.
